Katie Aquino is passionate about helping teachers and students connect with the world around them through the authentic use technology. Katie’s classroom teaching experience has all been at the high school level; 3 years in Missouri and 11 in Illinois. Currently, Katie is an instructional coach in the Leyden High School District outside of Chicago. Katie works with teachers to help create compelling instruction and engaged students. She has not only spent time helping other professionals work to stay on the cutting edge of instruction, but has also presented at local and national conferences including ICE, ISTE, The Midwest Chromebook Institute, ASCD Conference on Teaching Excellence and the Education on Air Conference. She is into all things cooking, travel and learning. She is a Google Certified Educator, Trainer and Innovator.
